躺在被窝里, 罩着耳机听着乱七八糟的音乐, 回想了一下这过去的48周. 如果要找一个词来描述的话, 那就是”不堪回首”!!!所有的目标,计划,理想,无一实现. 工作时无所事事,一分钱没赚到; 网站完全停滞,ADC也没参加,半路转投python玩cloud还没做出一个能用的东西来. 唯一值得欣慰的是搞了辆白色的自行车,周末还能骑出去兜风,偶尔跟宝马飚个车~

年关将至, 又是要规划明年的时候了. 现在脑瓜里跟面前日光灯照出来石灰墙一样的苍白, 茫茫然一片. 从这过去的同样苍白的一年看, 也许, 真的是没有出路了? 也许, 是真的没有希望了? 我到底想要什么, 想做什么? 去问上帝吗? 他会好心告诉我, 还是跟我打哑谜? 谁给个上帝的电话, 或者邮箱也行, 上帝用QQ的话就给个QQ号…

唉, 失败的人啊. 那些跳楼的,喝农药的都从这个阶段走过去的, 是不是? 这算不算个出路, my dear God?

在一项长达10小时的实验中，粒子束的运行距离可能超过100亿公里(60亿英里)，足以在地球与海王星之间做个往返。在达到最大强度时，每一个粒子束拥 有的能量相当于一辆以每小时1600公里(1000英里)行进的汽车。大型强子对撞机将消耗120兆瓦特电量，相当于日内瓦所有家庭的用电量。

俺物理忘得差不多只剩牛顿那个苹果定律了，既不知道啥是强子(我的昵称？)，也不知道那群砖家为什么担心会出现黑洞。不过俺知道出现黑洞后果是很很严重地，估计能以光速把俺吃掉，把俺变成中子、质子之类的东西 — 靠，比火化还干脆。嗯，宁可信其有啦，中午要好好吃一顿，虽然公司餐厅也没什么好吃。要是能撑到晚上(试验有10个小时呢)，那就开个party庆祝一下…

The search giant is making almost all there products successful in this internet era. And now they released a web browser~ Everyone is interested to see what will happen to the browser war: Firefox is doing batter and batter, IE is still No.1. So, what role will google chrome play?

I have installed Chrome on my company computer today. It even don’t need administrator privilege. Its interface is beautiful. It has tabs. It support Gears(of course…). And it’s fast. I am writing this post under Chrome now which is as comfortable as under FF3. This is amazing - considering it’s only a beta version of a newbie browser. I don’t know if this browser attracts IE users. But I am sure it will get users from FF comunity.

And until now, I have got only 12 normal comments from human being visitors!

My website gets a high pagerank. It was 4 about 2 months ago. But now drop back to 3. I don’t know but maybe they choose to spam on sites with high pagerank. Thanks for Akismet, there were only about 2 or 3 spam comments wasn’t blocked. So the spam links never get a link to promot there page rank.

I payed a little time to get my blog program up to date. It’s version 2.6 now. Seems that there are lots of exciting changes: Gears, Post revision. Cool~ but I haven’t notice any difference until now. Just checked my Gears installation and it’s disabled since it’s not compatible to FF version 3.01… Gonna update it and see what will happen then.

I was lazy in July - made nothing, even a blog post. Maybe I can figure out what to do on this month. Write some codes? Or date someone? Who knows~~~

I upgraded my hard driver to 160G last week thus there’s enough space to install a Ubuntu beside Vista. So I got Ubuntu 8.04 “Hardy Heron” installed.

The installation was quite straight forward and didn’t change to much. But the usability is much batter than v6. My wireless connection was successfully configured and connected. NTFS partitions were well supported. With additional codec installed, all of my musics and movies were played smoothly - even my iPod was recognized which was a big surprise to me. And the compz stuff is just awesome:

I think I will spend more time on linux than Vista from now on. Howday(again*-*) open source!

回家看新闻频道，才知道问题的严重性了。7.8级地震，整个县城与外界失去联系，全国都有震感，温家宝直飞现场…查了一下资料，当初的唐山地震也是7.8级，一下子惊呆了：不会历史重演吧？
今天早上少有地打开了电视看了一下新闻，救援队还没进入震中心汶川，汶川周围的地区就已经触目惊心了，统计上来的死亡人数已近万人。
部队今天上午已经开过去几万人了，正在汶川进发，估计现在已经有一些部队开进去了—因为道路完全被封死了，所有救援人员都是徒步前进，速度相当慢。空降部队也因为灾区目前的大雨没法空投物资和部队…下面是救援部队的示意图：

现在我只能默默祈祷，希望部队早一点开进去，希望汶川的同胞们坚持住。祝他们平安！
